2002 Yuan Du Liu Bao

Yuan Du is an aged Liu Bao tea made using traditional processing techniques in Liu Bao, a town within the Wuzhou tea-producing region of Guangxi

Our Yuan Du was sourced from a private collection & stored in Malaysia since the early 2000s. The liquor is deep & dark with a whisper of pine sap & forest oil to settle the soul & aid digestion. Thick mouth volume & a long aftertaste, the fragrance lingering well after the last sip.

The Qi is grounding & earthy, wonderful for dispelling dampness & clearing what has gathered in the lungs.

AETHER
1990’s Sheng Puerh

Aether is a wonderful loose-leaf sheng puerh from the 1990’s, sourced from a private collection & dry stored in Malaysia. The wet leaves still show green, yet the tea brews sweet & clear with hints of rose & a subtle camphor incense finish.

It has the signature of Malaysian ageing. deep and powerful, with a rich spectrum of flavors and a powerful, deeply euphoric Qi.

A wonderful every day aged Puerh, steeped strong or boiled.

THRESHOLD
2015 Yiwu Sheng Puerh

From old growth tea trees in Yiwu with a blend of younger leaves, this tea is plump & produces a golden-yellow liquor. It has a slight bitter taste that quickly dissipates & gives way to a mouth-watering flavour & long-lasting sweet aftertaste.

Aged further than its years suggest, the liquor carries the depth of a much older tea with an expansive, opening chi that settles into the body.

2008 Wild Tree Shou Puerh

Shou Puerh is often referred to as cooked or ripe puerh, & is produced through a wet-pile fermentation which ferments the tea before being compressed. During this process, the tea is piled, moistened & covered with thermal blankets to increase & maintain internal heat. The result is a dark, full-bodied brew with a relaxing energy.

Incredibly smooth & clean with an old taste sweetness & texture, deep & dark with hints of medicinal herbs.

Piled & aged in a clay urn in Malaysia, wet & dark, left to break down in its own heat & compost into medicine.

The energy is deep yin that fills the whole mouth & opens the pathways for a balanced grounding feeling.

2009 Shou Puerh (Gong Ting)

Shou Puerh is often referred to as cooked or ripe puerh, & is produced through a wet-pile fermentation which ferments the tea before being compressed. During this process, the tea is piled, moistened & covered with thermal blankets to increase & maintain internal heat. The result is a dark, full-bodied brew with a relaxing energy.

This incredible Gong Ting refers to a grade of leaf that was traditionally reserved for Imperial Tribute tea. Made from young golden leaves & buds harvested in early spring, this tea is deep, with a sweet aftertaste. Having mellowed over the last 17 years in Malaysia, this is a bold, clean & velvety smooth Shou with a creamy liquor.

The Qi is uplifting for a shou, rising from the root of the forest floor.
